Korean Air

Project Overview:

I led a small team in developing an In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system inspired by the innovative Virgin America experience. My focus was on designing an intuitive and engaging interface that reimagined how passengers navigate and access in-flight content, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Through collaboration and creative problem-solving, we delivered a solution that set a new standard for in-flight engagement.

The Solution

Our team designed a dual-sided interface to elevate user interaction. The front side functioned as the primary navigation panel, offering clear and seamless access to content categories. Users could then “flip” the interface—similar to turning pages—to access the content itself. This approach introduced a natural, tactile experience that felt both familiar and fresh.

Key Features
The design featured a dual-sided approach, with a front-facing navigation panel and a backside content interface for a seamless browsing experience. Intuitive navigation was achieved through page-flip interactions that mimicked real-world behavior, making content exploration effortless and natural. The user-centric design struck a balance between simplicity and functionality, ensuring passengers of all technological backgrounds could engage with ease and confidence.
